The number of salaried employees working from home has never been higher. Google has announced…
Finding the right job is one of the most important things we can do. It’s about more than just identifying the right career path and making some money. Whether or not you’re satisfied at work impacts our family life and happiness, too. And for employers, matching candidates to the roles best suited to them can mean the difference between success and failure.
In short, job search and recruitment are just too important to get wrong. So who do job seekers and employers trust most to get it right?
Applicant tracking solution TalentNest recently released a report evaluating the top 15 sources for job hires in Canada. Indeed was repeatedly named as a clear frontrunner, with leading measurements for both the quantity and quality of candidates provided. Let’s take a closer look at exactly what made Indeed emerge as a top performer.
Leading the pack
The TalentNest study didn’t just name Indeed as a leader for a single measurement, but instead found that the company outperformed other sites on several fronts.
To start, TalentNest found that Indeed was the top source of applications in Canada in the period under study. And while it would be impressive enough to deliver such a large numbers of applicants, Indeed also led the way in delivering candidates that were ultimately hired.
In fact, according to TalentNest, Indeed is the #1 external source of hires in Canada, delivering three times as many hires than all other job sites combined.
The professionals provided by Indeed also fared well when employers rated their applicants. A higher percentage of Indeed’s candidates passed prescreening questions when compared to applicants from other sources; in fact Indeed provides three times more top-rated candidates than all other job sites combined.
Committed to Canada
Of course, we here at Indeed welcome these results, but they are not a cause for complacency in our eyes. Instead, we see them as an affirmation of our mission: to help people get jobs. That’s because Indeed is serious about bringing the best opportunities to job seekers and the very best candidates to Canadian companies.
We built the largest search engine in Canada, with more than 10 million people running searches each month and 270,000 new jobs added each month.
But Indeed has much more to offer than a robust search tool. Canadian employers can tap into a deep pool of talent when they use our resume database, which contains more than 4.5 million resumes from qualified candidates in every industry in Canada.
Indeed also gives companies space to showcase their brand and culture through our company pages, which feature a total of 600,000 employee reviews in Canada.
And there is more to come. Indeed is always developing new innovations with the goal of improving each step in the hiring cycle and — alongside companies like TalentNest — helping recruiters work smarter, not harder, to get the best results possible.
