ABOUT MAQE X VERSO

MAQE is a digital consultancy on a mission to (literally) change how the world works. We’ve been around for 6 years, have grown an average of 25% per year, and currently have 40+ full-time employees.

We do a variety of work ranging from e-commerce websites to web applications to mobile apps. Importantly, we don’t just build things — we actually solve problems. And we do this for startups and multinational corporations alike.

Another thing you need to know is that we take Employee Engagement very seriously. We believe that happy people do good work and that if we get that right, everything else will follow.

The Situation

There’s a new international school being built in Bangkok. It’s called Versoand it’s set to open its doors in in mid-2020.

We’ve been asked to create the digital infrastructure the school needs to operate. And that’s why we are now staffing a 4-person Programme Management Office (PMO).

The Challenge

Everything needs to be built from the ground up. That includes the personalized curriculum that the students will follow as well as an amazing new school campus.

As a member of the PMO, you will focus on putting in place systems ranging from software that support business operations such as Finance and HR on the one hand, to those that automate the school’s unique learning methodology through custom e-learning and Student Information System (SIS) on the other.

Some of these systems will require turnkey solutions. Others will require that you and your team discover, create, and continuously improve custom software. Most importantly, you will need to make sure each individual system seamlessly integrates with the rest to create a centralized School Management System as a whole.

Admissions start in 10 months. And the school opens 12 months after that. And while that might seem like a lot of time, you’ll have a lot of ground to cover.

The Opportunity

This will be the first school in Thailand to follow the Mastery curriculum — a revolutionary new approach to education that is both human-centered and highly personalized.

If you care about education, this is a great opportunity to leverage your existing skills and make a tangible difference in the lives of the thousands of future students.

It’s also a great opportunity to learn and apply Design Thinking and Systems Theory, as well as the Lean and Agile methods that we use to continuously deliver value.
