Sales and Marketing Coordinator, International Trade Shows | Koelnmesse Inc. (USA)

Job Description:

We’re looking for a full-time and part-time Sales and Project Coordinator with working knowledge of trade shows and exhibit space sales. Preferably bi-lingual (English/German and/or Spanish). The position reports to one of our Sales and Project Managers.



  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Working knowledge of trade shows and exhibit space sales with 1 – 2 years’ experience

  • Outstanding sales, project coordination and marketing skills  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced small-team environment

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Attention to details and deadlines

  • Creative, motivated and independent self-starter

  • Excellent team player

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contact management software (Salesforce)

  • German and/or Spanish language capability is a plus.

  • Occasional travel required

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


    • Sales and marketing for a portfolio of international trade shows

    • Assist in developing promotional show material

    • Daily customer-service of North American clients seeking export opportunities in Europe, Asia and South America  

    • Occasional sales visits to domestic trade shows

    • Liaison with marketing teams at German headquarters

    • Telemarketing to database of North American exporters
