Senior Manager – Retail Engagement (SAS Certified) – The Nielsen Company (Thailand) Ltd.

Person would lead an operations to develop, drive and implement operational and quality initiatives that cope with business needs and company values/objectives. It is essential to work with the regional leader to enable growth opportunities by bringing in better quality, process discipline and cost leadership. 


Job Responsibilities 

  • Support the loyalty data onboarding and deployment using SAS platform from retailers. The REC is required to liaise with the retailer and the Interview teams to get to a clean set of data which is suitable and compatible for Nielsen.
  • The responsibilities are to work with a client to get the data in the correct format, understanding the data from a business point of view; manage, escalate and resolve data issues directly with retailer contact.
  • The role may require working with multiple client data concurrently and will also include being responsible for managing the data investigation. 
  • Responsible for managing the end to end requirements gathering and capabilities delivery process for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develops requirements gathering strategy aligned with project management budgets and schedule.
  • Report test results and highlight issues via an issues log, which are escalated and managed to resolution with client


Required Skills & Knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
  • Overall 8-10 years of experience in IT business analyst role.
  • Should be SAS hands-on/Certified (Mandatory)
  • Strong Analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with PM and/or BPI/Six Sigma methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated communications and win/win negotiation skills, both verbal and written, that are effectively utilized across all levels of a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work in multiple time zones and countries.
  • Capable of energizing and empowering a diverse, multi-cultural operation 


Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Retailer Industry & Technologies and Retailer Services organization
  • Have done client facing role
  • Good to have at least 5+ years of experience in leadership roles
  • Nice to have Unix and ETL experience
