Vice President – Marketing and Communication Manager | BNY Mellon Investment Management


Bank of New York Mellon Investment Management, which is the umbrella name for all the investment management subsidiaries and affiliates within Bank of New York Mellon, currently has a presence in 5 countries in Asia Pacific, namely Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Australia. The company also targets and services clients and distribution channels in other Asia Pacific countries (e.g. China, Taiwan).

This position, the Marketing and Communication Manager, will provide marketing support across APAC ex Japan and include but is not limited to:

  • Work with regional APAC Marketing and business teams to help execute on marketing plans for Institutional and Intermediary clients in Asia Pacific ex Japan
  • Help implement the marketing plans for both the institutional and intermediary business in the region, incorporating value proposition and end-to-end experience delivery in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Execute on digital initiatives for the region, relevant fund and thematic campaigns using Marketing, social media platforms and regional websites – ensure content is compliant and up to date. Drive digital marketing communications / campaigns through to sales teams / specific countries
  • Identify client communication opportunities, co-ordinate with the relevant marketing team members and other departments if necessary, providing clear support requirements and deadlines. Measure and report on feedback from these themed communications. Develop and maintain relevant, timely and compliant local language marketing communications – on and offline.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to drive the right product mix and meet the needs of customer and shareholders. Identify KPIs and manage marketing activities around them, communicating results and adjusting strategy accordingly
  • Help implement key initiatives to deliver localized thought leadership in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Communicate with key stakeholders across business, Compliance and product teams throughout the process
  • Work closely to execute on roadshow calendar, leverage cross business opportunities and increase client loyalty and engagement
  • Be responsible for meeting growth target and segment level KPIs
  • Periodically conduct competitive market analysis to enhance the value propositions
